The Early Years My earliest childhood memories are amazing in detail and vivid clarity. They remain with me sixty years later. I was born on the Sandia military base in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Reel to Reel Tapes sure hold there magnetism

In doing some cleaning out of storage spaces recently, I came across ten reels of magnetic tape with no labels on them. My parents had given them to me several years ago when they were cleaning up. I was fortunate to be able to listen to there contents thanks to a friend who still has a working tape deck capable of playing them. These tapes were recorded when I was a teenager. The Resurrected Blog

I am so amazed that I havenโ€™t posted to this blog in over two years! ๐Ÿ™‚ So much has happened and so much has changed. I am now almost 58. ๐Ÿ™‚ Both of my parents are in heaven! I am loving learning and school! I made one of those new year resolutions to do things differently this year. This includes writing one blog post a week minimum. Stay tuned!

Children Are Awesome

I saw a Twitter post from a Blind friend recently that went something like this. “I wonder if Blind people can adopt children?” This question gave me a bit of a pause for reflection because we adopted four children! Adopting is an incredible miracle and life is so fully manifested in the incredible gift of bringing a new child home to the family. I remember the wonderful bonding that took place immediately after holding a newly adopted baby in my arms! What awesome family experiences can you share?
